# Raspberry Pi

The [<u>Raspberry Pi</u>](https://www.raspberrypi.com/) is a versatile and affordable single-board computer that has become popular for various projects and applications. It is designed to be a low-cost alternative to traditional desktop computers and is widely used in fields such as education, home automation, and IoT development.

The Standard System can seamlessly run on a Raspberry Pi. Install a Linux distro and apt-install standard to own your cloud at a reasonable price.

## Notes

Standard Computers advises you have a machine with at least 16 GB of RAM if you intend to use search or email functionality. If you intend to use Standard for simple cloud drive and workspace self-hosting, 8 GB is enough.
